Giving hope and smiles to children

Welcome to the Bissa Foundation

Bissa Foundation’s Pillars

Education

In Cameroon, the education of children living with disabilities faces numerous difficulties. Bissa Foundation (BF) will promote children education and volunteer continuing education with professionals.

BF will base its effort on a qualitative  education of the children with reduce mobility by providing educational scholarship and supplies to at least 10 children this coming academical year 2020-2021.

BF will support organizations and institutions dealing with disability issues and individuals involved in the educational process of these children.

Transportation

There is a lack of public awareness in Cameroon regarding the difficulties and dangers of transportation faced by children with reduced mobility. Public transport creates a barrier for children living with these mobility issues.

Bissa Foundation is planning to acquire adequate vehicles in other to facilitate these children to attend school, medical appointments and recreational activities. In addition, BF is planning on hiring qualified drivers to assist with these functions.

Health

It could be expected that children with reduced mobilities might need to repeat their class due to their physical condition. BF is willing to assist with the health issues of these children so they can perform the best that they can at school like their valid mates. In the time, as good as better than their classmates.

BF will refer these children with reduced mobility to the specialist physicians to take care of their annual physical exams prior to the start of the school year. The statistics show that 19.5% of children with disabilities in Cameroon are likely to repeat a class because they lack medical care to maintain a good health.

BF is prepared to assist these children with good medical care to improve their health and wellbeing. Thus, improving their odds for a better education.

Our Mission
